01Introduction

These terms and conditions govern participation in photography courses provided by Exposed Schools of Photography, across its Bedfordshire, Kent and Cornwall schools. By enrolling you agree to abide by them. If you do not agree with them, please do not book.

02Course enrolment

• Enrolment is confirmed when we receive payment in full.
• Course availability depends on space, and enrolment may be refused if a course is full.
• Fees are as stated on this website or in a current promotion. Prices are subject to change without notice.

03Payment and cancellations

• Payment in full is required at the time of booking unless we have agreed otherwise in writing.
• Cancellations must be made at least 21 days in advance for a full refund.
• Cancelling with less than 21 days' notice incurs a 50% cancellation fee.
• Cancelling with less than 72 hours' notice means no refund is available.

04Rescheduling

• We may reschedule a course because of insufficient attendance or unforeseen circumstances. If we do, you will be offered alternative dates or a full refund.
• If you need to move to another date, tell us at least 48 hours beforehand. We will do what we can, but availability cannot be guaranteed.

05Course content

Content varies with the needs of the people in the room, and we reserve the right to alter the schedule. What we commit to is the practical learning described on the course page.

06Health and safety

Students must follow all instructions given by the tutor. We are not liable for injuries sustained during a course, except in the case of negligence on our part. Our full health and safety documents are published here.

07Conduct

We expect respectful behaviour towards tutors and other students. Disruptive conduct results in removal from the course without a refund. You are responsible for your personal belongings, and we are not liable for any loss or damage.

08Photography releases

Attending a course grants consent for your likeness to be used in our promotional materials, unless you tell us in writing that you would rather it were not. Just say so — nobody will mind.

09Data protection

Personal data is collected and handled in line with our privacy policy and applicable data protection law. We use your information to administer your booking and, if you have opted in, to tell you about courses. You can be removed from the mailing list at any time.

10Liability

Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the course. We accept no liability for indirect or consequential loss.

11Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the United Kingdom, and any dispute will be resolved in the United Kingdom courts.
