No experience and no expensive camera needed

This 6-week course is the perfect introduction to digital photography. We teach you how to get the best out of your camera whether it be a DSLR, Mirrorless, Bridge or any form of camera.

Getting to know your camera
Shooting modes (No more auto)
Composition
Aperture
Shutterspeed
ISO
Working with light
Working with a tripod
Creative thinking
Much more!

Throughout the course, we teach these photographic techniques in loosely themed informal projects that allow you to express your creativity and understanding of photography without having to produce any formal or written coursework/exams.

Further study

Upon completing the first course, you have the opportunity to advance to our Level 2 course, which represents an increase in difficulty compared to Level 1. However, this progression is designed to be a smooth transition, allowing you to build on your growing photography knowledge seamlessly.

Whatever is putting you off,

Any camera at all

Phone, point and shoot, an old DSLR from the loft. All of it works. Nobody will ask what lens you own.

In the room, not on a screen

Every session is taught in person, so a tutor can look at your camera, in your hands, and fix it there and then. No videos to work through on your own.

Teenagers to retirement

Most arrive on their own and leave with friends. Under 16s are welcome too, dropped off and picked up by a parent or guardian, who is welcome to stay for the session.

Support does not stop

Message, call or video call whenever you are stuck, during the course and long after it has finished.
